The ALCC states that August is a great month to plant flowers for several reasons. In particular, August is a prime month to add flowers to your landscape because many flowers aren’t available in nurseries until late summer.

As the month of August falls on the cusp of the summer to fall transition, its a great month to start planting flowers that will reap those beautiful autumn colors for your landscape.
