Divide Creek Farm

Divide Creek Farm hosted an amazing event October 16th and 17th allowing farmers, growers and other interested consumers to visit their beautiful farm above Silt, Colorado.B Owners and organic growers Robbie George and Clara Coleman offered hands-on workshops with notable organic and sustainable farmers and authors Joel Salatin and Eliot Coleman and on Sunday afternoon, presented a lovely outdoor dinner of locally farmed foods prepared by Chef Ryan Hardy of the Little Nell Hotel in Aspen.

May I just say that the opening course of scrambled Divide Creek Farm eggs with Rendevous Farm cauliflower custard b served IN the shell, just about did me in!

Inspired by Salatinbs presentation, bBallet in the Pastureb, wherein Joel describes his precise choreography of sustainable livestock management, Coleman described his conducting of organic vegetable gardening in bSymphony in the Greenhouseb.

I am so fascinated by what I am learning about the Slow Food movement b I may start branching out into sustainable farming myself!
